Take a Walk on Oregon's Wild Side
When your backyard is 250 acres of unspoiled Oregon Coast lands, your only dilemma is, where to begin? We suggest you start with a restorative jaunt on miles of forested Gleneden Beach trails winding their way through and around the resort. Whether you opt for a more strenuous hike, join a complimentary Guided Interpretive Hike (optional leashed pooch in tow), or use our private beach access to stroll to the sandy shore, you’ll find plenty of room to roam.
Beyond Salishan, trace a corner of the Oregon Coast Trail (OCT) along 328 magnificent miles of pieced-together pathways brimming with craggy headlands, crashing waves and magical tide pools. Or trek six miles of off-the-beaten-path strand and rocky promontories on the Lincoln Beach Hike, from the Gleneden Beach Trailhead to Fishing Rock.
Salishan has recently changed ownership and the new management has made exciting changes and breathed new life into the resort... This is a wonderful destination resort for people looking for a peaceful retreat and a classic Pacific Northwest experience. At the same time, there is enough action going on that it’s a great resort for families.Leah Deangelis (The Modern Travelers)
Lovely hotel situated in a nicely landscaped environment. Room was comfortable and clean; contained a dining table with chairs near a welcoming fireplace.2hi2cu (TripAdvisor)
We had a wonderful weekend stay on this beautiful property! The staff was very helpful, knowledable and unpretentious. We were able to relax and wander the property and take advantage of a few of the many activities.Fishmanr5 (TripAdvisor)
Really great location. My family liked being tucked back in the forest. My son loved the pool and getting to hunt for glass floats!bad_oliver (TripAdvisor)
Absolutely one of the most beautiful resorts in the Pacific Northwest. First class accommodations and activities galore. If I could give them six stars I would. Probably one of the best customer experiences we have had.125dthomas (TripAdvisor)
The Spa at Salishan was easily one of the most beautiful spas I’ve been to…The massage was epic, but so was just wandering around the spa and admiring its beauty.Ariel Lynn (aeriallynn.com)
