Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project

I’ll bet you are wondering “What’s going on at Salishan right now?” aren’t you? Well, wonder no more.

The Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project, now in its sixth year, helps keep beaches, rivers and lakes across America “barefoot friendly.” In 2012, Barefoot Wine and the Surfrider Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves and beaches, along with community volunteers, are embarking on a tour of 25 cleanups, nationwide.

The volunteers are also invited to attend a celebration, organized by Surfrider Foundation, featuring surf-inspired fare and live performance by musician Joshua Radin! I can’t wait until they arrive! This is going to be a fun event! They have a real cool set up and I have inserted a few photos to give you a sneak peak…but they are still working on the set so I will take a few pictures when they are finished so you can see how beautiful this project turned out to be. Can you believe they are using purple table cloths? I love purple table cloths!

Bye for now!
