9:30am. Sunday, September 1, 2013. This sighting of a Giant White Salishan Pool Penguin, with distinctive crown plumage, is especially important in the ornithological history of the central coast for the accompanying juvenile of the species, shown here in it’s unique pink coat with blue feet. They are shown doing what is commonly called “the happy dance,” having just come from their natural habitat, the Salishan pool. Water aerobics may have been involved, or at least a pancake breakfast.
